Camel Pose

Camel Tips:

  • Don't let your bottom go behind the knees.
  • Push deeper forward through the exhalations (but always push stomach, hips, legs, and bottom forward).
  • Lift chest higher through inhalations.
  • Thumbs are on the outside.
  • Knees and toes are approximately 6 inches apart (knees can be a little wider in the second set).
  • Relax your face.
  • Any emotion you feel is completely normal.
  • Use your hands on your hips for support to come back up, and don't crash forward to the floor. 
  • Try to sit down on the heels with spine straight, and keep the spine straight all the way to relaxation on your back.
