Full Locust

Full Locust Tips:
  • Point the toes and keep your feet together.
  • Do not bend the knees.
  • Look up the sky.
  • Engage your core. Sacrifice height in the legs to get the upper body higher as a beginner.
  • Try to get your hands above the crown of the head, reaching the arms up and back.
  • Begin with the arms directly out to the side (and maybe 1 inch backwards), with palms of the hands on the floor.
  • As you life the arms, the palms of the hands should ahead of you (not behind you).
  • On the final exhale, really engage the core and try to fly up a few more inches, using everything you've got (but keep the face relaxed and don't hold breath).
