Half Tortoise Pose


Half Tortoise Tips:
  • Keep your knees together, and if possible keep your heels together.
  • While folding forward, go as slowly as possible, and try to remain sitting on the heels for as long as possible.
  • No part of the wrist or arm should touch the floor.
  • Keep the palms of your hands together, and squeeze the arms into ears.
  • Chin is away from the chest, with the nose and forehead touching the floor.
  • Focus on the exhales.
  • Surrender.
  • Before coming up, squeeze knees together, suck stomach in, and lift the pelvic floor to fully engage the core and protect the low back.
