Savasana Tips:
  • Keep the chin slightly down.
  • Resist the temptation to move, wipe sweat from, or scratch the body.
  • Palms of the hands face the ceiling, with fingers relaxed.
  • The entire body should be calm and still.
  • If you have a thought, it is okay.  At the end of exhalation, pause... and wait for the next inhalation to begin.
  • The breath will become more feeble, almost disappearing.
  • The longer you can stay in this posture, the more benefit you will receive from your asana practice.  Try to stay 10-15 minutes without movement.
