Standing Head to Knee Pose

Standing Head to Knee Tips:
  • As a beginner, do not kick until you can balance with the standing leg engaged without falling for the entire first set (at least 60 seconds).
  • Make sure kicking leg is parallel to the floor.
  • You may grab the shin as a beginner if you cannot grab under the foot.
  • After kicking forward, do not be in a hurry to pull the elbows down.  Stay with extended arms and straight spine for a few breaths.
  • Keep the eyes focused straight ahead.
